Invited talk in Stockholm (Sweeden)

28 - 31 Aug 2022

Prof. Kyzas travelled to Stockholm (Sweeden) and gave an invited talk in the Sweedish Advanced Materials Academy entitled “Effective materials in wastewater treatment: Low cost-, selective-, super- and nano- adsorbent materials” during the Advanced Materials Congress, Stockholm, Sweeden, 28-31 August 2022.

Invited talk in Krakow (Poland)

12 - 14 Jul 2022

Prof. Kyzas moved to Krakow (Poland) and gave an invited talk entitled “Chitosan-modified polymeric material for wastewater treatment” in the ETCC2022 European Technical Coatings Congress, Krakow, Poland, 12-14 July 2022. In this Conference, Prof. Kyzas was also Chair in Session and Committee Member for the Evaluation of the best oral presentation and poster.

e-Lecture in Summer School in Patras (Greece)

11 - 24 Jul 2022

Prof. Kyzas gave an e-lecture entitled "Alternative super-adsorbents and selective materials in wastewater treatment" in the7th Distance education e-learning Summer School on Wastewater and Biosolids Management (WWSS22) which held in Patras (Greece). Special thanks to Prof. Kalavrouziotis for the invitation.

Also, D. Trikkaliotis and R. Kosheleva (PhD students) from the group of Prof. Kyzas presented the works entitled “Synthesis, characterization and adsorption evaluatrion of modified graphene adsorbents films for the removal of drugs from aqueous solutions”, “Decolorization of dyeing effluents by using oxidation with nanobubbles”, “Nanobubbles for the decontamination of pharmaceutical wastewaters”.

Invited talk in Copenhagen (Denmark)

27 - 30 Jun 2022

Prof. Kyzas -after invitation- participated in the 9th International Conference on Engineering for Waste and Biomass Valorisation (WasteEng2022), Copenhagen, Denmark and presented the work entitled "Cleaning of dyeing synthetic wastewaters with nanobubbles". In this Conference, Prof. Kyzas was also Chair in Session and Committee Member for the Evaluation of the best oral presentation and poster.

D. Trikkaliotis (PhD student suprvised by Prof. Kyzas) participated in the EPF European Polymer Congress and presented a work entitled "Copper ions removal from wastewaters with polymeric adsorbent materials".
